G3T launch VoIP service based on new patented IP signalling method e2e Technology. It is currently operational within the NETePhone, freely available software, and also VePhone browser-based application. Significant benefits in efficiency are apparent as all IP call traffic is NOT hosted by the provider, an important consideration when considering the potential to roll out video and mobile applications. The technology is ideally suited to the deployment as part of a software as a service solution.
The VoIP service currently lets users choose their own UK telephone number to make and receive free calls (or make low-cost calls to landlines/mobiles using their broadband internet connection.
